Did you know that the word “calçot” comes from the fact that, as the plant grows, it must be “hilled up” —that is, surrounded by soil until it’s time to harvest?
Well, the time has come to “unearth” them and enjoy calçots in a delicious meal!
For this reason, we are once again opening the season of our private calçotada workshops in the Maresme area, near Barcelona.
An experience to remember! An outdoor activity among vineyards, in the heart of nature, to enjoy with friends and family.
To whet your appetite, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and start preparing the calçotada as a team!
Following the instructions of our private chef, we’ll make a fire together using vine shoots from our own vineyards and grill the calçots we’ve prepared.
We’ll accompany them with a small appetizer, grilled sausages and meat, and of course, a tasting of our wines.
After cooking, we’ll enjoy lunch together among the vineyards while savoring Bouquet d’Alella wines.
Optionally, the activity can be complemented with a guided tour of our winery and vineyards, and a tasting of four wines (at an additional cost).

– Calçots with romesco sauce
– Organic farm chicken and sausage
– Roasted potatoes
– Orange and Catalan cream (Crème brûlée style)
– Bread with tomato
– Bouquet d’Alella wine (½ bottle per person)
– Water and coffee
